Moving Forward: Jesus never stayed in one place very long. He was always on his way to…or from somewhere. John the Baptist told the people, “Prepare the way of the Lord, make straight his paths.” (Mark 1:3). Prior to his Baptism Mark tells us that “Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee…” (Mk 1:9) After his Baptism Luke tells us, “Filled with the holy Spirit, Jesus returned from the Jordan and was led into the desert.” (Lk 4:1) After the resurrection Jesus commanded His disciples to “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations….” (Mt 28:19)
